2024 Call for Speakers: Research Symposium

Applied research presented to fellow educators and practitioners in the areas of commercial recreation, travel, and travel industries. This is a peer-reviewed process. Research presented during the symposium is eligible for the best research presentation award. Speakers are invited to submit a research abstract topic for peer-review in order to be considered for acceptance to present during the REC Net 2024 Conference, a national presentation platform.

Presenters at the conference will be invited to submit full papers to be reviewed for the next edition of the Journal of Tourism Insights (indexed by the Committee on Publication Ethics). There have been over 166,000 manuscript downloads from the Journal since 2010.

Abstracts are now being accepted. Our goal is to provide a response within two weeks. Final deadline for submissions is September 27, 2024
